Killer Minnow Promo Tin Wins Ad Club Award

Last week we submitted an entry to the 2010 Connecticut Ad Club Awards in the "self promotion" category. We're pretty proud of our little "fishy" promo tin.

Inspired by an old sardine can, our Killer Minnow "fishy" tin is a cool holder for our business cards and a USB flash drive containing our demo reels and other marketing materials.

The USB isn't any run of the mill USB though! And neither is the tin! The tin has labels on the front and the back, designed by our very own Rob King. They describe what we're about, list our capabilities, etc. And the USB is a sculpted version of the Killer Minnow logo. It was made by our friend and colleague Ben Chester, the talented Rhode Island-based creature effects master.

Each tin is put together by hand. We take them to meetings and give them out to really, really nice clients or potential clients. So invite us to your business and you may be lucky enough to get one! ;)
