The Melancholy Fantastic

Killer Minnow had the pleasure of working once again with director A.D. Calvo on his latest film, the supernatural horror thriller The Melancholy Fantastic. Previously, the Killer Minnow team worked on A.D.'s film The Other Side of the Tracks. In fact we won an Ava Award for that film!

For Melancholy we completed a variety of vfx shots that involved compositing, fire, smoke, and other digital magic.

An official release date for the film hasn't been set yet, bu the trailer is out. You can check it out below (please note it is a "red band" trailer and is possibly NSFW). Once the film is out we'll show some behind the scenes of what we did on the film, but for now enjoy the trailer:
